BSG OGR – Food Production Centre

The food production centre of a catering group emitted a large amount of cooking fumes and odour, causing the accumulation of grease and oil in the ductwork. A BSG device was used to perform a small scale test in which part of the exhaust air was directed by a flexible duct to pass through the BSG device. Grease was simultaneously collected for 3 days at 2 sampling points located before and after passing through the BSG device. The results demonstrated that the amount of grease was subsequently reduced by 94%.
