Coronavirus Destroyed by BSG Technology in Lab Tests

Like H5N1 bird flu in 1997 and the SARS epidemic of 2002 to 2003, the newest coronavirus is an infection which causes viral pneumonia, illness many times more severe than a common cold, acute respiratory distress, and a high fatality rate.
Hygiene products from BSG have been tested and shown to destroy all identifiable strains of these viruses.

Preliminary studies published by The World Health Organization and The Lancet report a 2% – 3% fatality rate for the 2019-2020 coronavirus (see Sources, below).

There are currently no candidate vaccines that are ready for widespread use to prevent coronavirus.

BSG technology was tested against strains of the virus by CNRS Formation Entreprises, accredited by the World Health Organization (WHO), in a level-3 biosafety lab.

Biological Safety Level (BSL) – 3 laboratories are designated for “indigenous or exotic agents that may cause serious or potentially lethal disease through the inhalation route of exposure” according to the Biosafety in Microbiological and Biomedical Laboratories (BMBL), the international cornerstone publication of biosafety practice and policy.

Trials were performed seven times, showing that BSG technology destroying 99.999% of the virus in less than 0.44 seconds.

BSG products such as BSG AC use technologies including UV photo plasma and UV light to disinfect surfaces and air. During the tests, the virus was subjected only to varying amounts of photo plasma, and not to direct UV light.

BSG AC is ideal for disinfecting all manner of living spaces; for additional information, click here. Chemical-free hygiene solutions for air and surface disinfection from BSG are popular in a variety of fields, including HVAC, Foodservice, and Hygiene and Odor Control.
