The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is a membership-based nonprofit that promotes sustainability in buildings design, construction, and operation.

USGBC is best known for its development of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) green building rating systems. Its annual Greenbuild International Conference & Expo is the world’s largest event dedicated to green building.

USGBC advocates the approach taken by BioZone Scientific to treat indoor air quality by removing gas-phase contamination, as opposed to alternative methods that use exhaust of return air and make-up of outdoor air.
